Augmentation

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation is a procedure to enhance the size and shape of your breasts. Breast augmentation involves inserting an implant underneath the breasts to increase the woman’s bust.

The best candidates for breast augmentation are physically healthy women looking for improvement in the way they look and are realistic in their expectations.

The reasons for breast augmentation are varied:

  • Women that have always been small busted and would like to enhance their bust.
  • Restoration of the volume of the breast after significant weight loss or pregnancy.

  • To correct the asymmetry of uneven breast sizes.

Variations in the type of surgery you may undergo include :

  • The position of the implant: Under the breast gland (subglandular) or under the muscle (subpectoral).
  • The incision for placement of the implant: Inframammary (in the breast crease) or Periareolar (around part of the areolar).
